For those of you that are from the Holland-Grand Rapids area of Michigan, where can I go for classes to learn applique', quilting, heirloom, etc. that won't break my budget? I'm a hands on learner, so reading a book, isn't my thing. :o

Connie I don't recall seeing anywhere over there and the JoAnn stores I went to were the smaller, not the superstores so they may not have classes. The one in Grand Rapids, if I recall was the larger of the two though. Have you called and asked them if they do have any classes or if not, they may have a lead on some places that do offer them.

I'll have to keep my eye out next trip over and let you know if I see something I'm not remembering right now.

Thanks VickiT! I did check the Holland JoAnns and they gave me a lady that will do it in her home, but I was more interested in a class with other people besides myself. The more people, the more fun and more ideas that get shared!
Thanks for checking on it for me. THAT is going WAY above and beyound girl!:D

Truthfully Connie ~ I'd check out the woman's name they gave you. Have you called her yet? She may just have classes in her home. I know there are a few this direction that do. I'd be willing to do individual classes though because while you are missing the group concept you were hoping for, you will get a lot more for your money and learn so much more. Years ago I had someone I met at a Hancock's store that did individual classes and even came to my house. It was the best money I could have spent.
