LOL Well actually I can tell you a few years ago my husband and I got up at 3am, he worked all day long, then worked a local high school football game all night long taking photography for the team and then came home and we left for FL at midnight after he'd been up all day already that by the were exhausted and had to stop we were in Atlanta. That was a 13 hrs drive from my house. :D So, there ya go. It's only 13 hours.

omg that is so pretty! I know it is a pain when you live in it but oh the beauty of it!
So if I drive say another 12 hours after IL I can maybe make it to ME, LOL, I will need some REAL maple syrup when I get there to tide me over from the long ride, LOL

Yeah, we got snow early this morning...made for a three hour drive to work because people get stupid when there is precipitation. We got anywhere from 4-8 inches

Joy - can the kids and I come up for Christmas???? Here in Texas we only get small amounts of snow - just enough to make little snowmen. I don't think my kids would know what to do with that much snow. :)

I'm with you, joann. We don't get much in the way of snow down here in Dallas, so the odds of a white Christmas are more than slim. Shoot, I'd be happy if it'd get down below 70, to be honest. :\

I tell my husband every year that I'd like to rent a cabin in Colorado one Christmas. I've only seen snow more than an inch or two thick one time in my life, and I can't imagine going outside Christmas morning to a ton of snow. How amazing. :)

Not much chance of snow here, highs near 80 today. I like looking at the pictures, but have no desire to be in it. That's why hubby moved us to FL.

There is never enough snow here either!..In fact, we are expected to hit a high tomorrow of almost 75...Makes it hard to get into the "spirit" of Christmas!

I want to live where Be Joyed lives! Here in Michigan it snows and soon after, melts and everything turns yucky! I LOVE the snow! I wish my kids could experience snow the way I remember it. We had so much snow, that we jumped off our roof of our house and into a 5 foot snow bank! We had a snowmoblie and took it out everyday! I want those days back!
