Very cute! Is the fabic wrapped around or just on the front? Do you personalize it in any way?

Yes, the fabric goes all the way around the burp cloth and no I don't personalize these. I do a boy version and a girl version and the church gives them out whenever there is a new baby born.

That is absolutely adorable! What a wonderful gift for a new mom. Embroidered burp rags are one of my favorite gifts to give.

Yes, can you tell it is one of my favorites? I like doing it for the kids/baby stuff. It just goes with everything.

It really does go with everything! I would love to find it! I am working on some Christmas aprons for my kids, I think it would be perfect for them.

Alright, so I am not a big sewer but I am doing more and more cause it kinda goes with my embroidery obsession! Can you tell me in real simple terms how you put the fabric on? I think It looks so nice and finished. I would really like to try and do that if it isn't to hard! Cause I am lazy!:o
Thanks for any help you can give!:)

I love these! Did you get the saying or just use a font you had and did it yourself? What design is that?

The church had some burp cloths they were getting somewhere else. I think they were paying somebody for some really generic burp cloths. I volunteered to make them for the church and she just said to make sure Jesus Loves Me is on them. The design is from the Simply Stitches baby. It is perfect for what they need. The font is my all time favorite, Tipsy, from Monogram Wizard alpha pak #12.

Gosh, not sure if I am any good at explaining! I just measure my fabric a little longer than the diaper on either side and however far up you want it on the fabric and double that part. I turn the edges under and sew it on the diaper, all the way around. Make sure everything is lined up on the underside, so it all sews together. I use a decorative stitch to go around and it just makes it look a little better.

This is so cute. The group I'm in that makes clothes for babies always has burp cloths on its most needed list. Guess I'll be making some of these fancy ones in the near future.

Those are one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. When you buy the burp cloths,do you get the single layer diapers or the ones that are thicker in the middle?

I love the burp cloth. I have never bought any of the "Simply Stitches" designs. But after seeing this, WOW I am adding that set to my list. I love how they stitch out.
