Okay, so I'm not the best picture taker but I think you can get the general idea of embroidery for soap.
I've been posting here and there a bit but I guess I haven't introduced myself. I'm Andi, a SAHM of 3 great kids. I live in AZ and have been embroidering for 4 years.

Welcome!
Great Job.. I remember when i took a class back in 1998 and we put embroidery on soap... people thought I was crazy..It was a monogram.
I put it in my bathroom for show until my kids trashed it!
Mine did not look like yours!
Again... great job and Thanks for sharing!

I hooped 2 layers of water soluable stabilizer and one layer of tulle. Then I stitched the design. (That design is from Simply Stitches.) Then I cut out the design, sprayed it with water and stuck it to the soap. Really it's very simple. When I first saw embroidery on soap, I thought it was a little cheesy! But then I wanted to learn how to make soap and when I did, I had to try it with embroidery...the addict that I am. Try it, you'll like it!

Those soaps look fantastic. I've heard people talk about embroidery on soap, but I don't recall ever seeing what it looked like. Thanks for the great picture!

I'd think that'd be the type of thing to sell well at craft fairs... kind of like the people who embroider toilet paper rolls! Between TP, soap, and towels, we could be outfitting bathrooms all across America (and beyond!).

I've never done that. I guess there is always a first time. Very nice!

My aunt used to take little decoupage-like pictures, stick them to soap, and then dip the top part with the picture in hot wax. This sounds a little easier with just water to stick it down.

You can not even see the tulle in the pictures. I never tried the soap because I thought the tulle would look terrible!
Your soaps are great!

That's cool. I have ordered monogrammed soap & given as wedding shower gifts, but I never thought about the process behind it. I'm totally confused as to how you would do this...very interesting.

Anpola explained how she did it on the last page. I quoted that post below. You should give it a try and see how it turns out.

I love your soaps. I think that little things like this in a bathroom give the bathroom that little extra touch.
