I made this for my sewing friend and sent it in the mail as a little Christmas happy. I used another one of those microfiber towels from Wal-mart. I just love those towels, and so does my friend.
I used a solvy stabilizer on the back since it has so many tiny designs, and it worked just fine. I normally use a tearaway.

Shirley, those are adorable. I agree with Dolly....I need a nap.

Well, the children are nestled all snug in their beds, and Santa has already come. I guess I need to get some sleep before they wake me up in a few hours. :p

Very cute, Shirley. I bet your friend laughed when she saw the saying.

Do you prewash the microfiber towels? I have, but would love to hear if it isn't necessary.

No, I don't prewash those. I haven't had a problem with them at all other than no one wants to use them afraid they will mess them up.

I wash all my linens before I embroider--have sat under the hot lights of many embroidery teachers who told me I HAD to. I agree, this is too pretty to use! I made an apron and sent it to Norway--used DollyMama shoes on it since Scandinavians put their shoes out for Santa to fill. These were high heels but, they got the idea!

I think the Dolly Lama's are my favorite. I love all of them. I also agree about those Walmart microfiber towels - they stitch out so nicely.
