Down here at Ft Benning, Ga for the weekend to see hubby off before he leaves for Iraq this week. Right now I am using the computer in the lobby of the hotel and catching up on some laundry while he is doing briefings on base. It's a dreary weekend here to go with the mood. This board seems to bring a sense of normalcy to me. I will be going back home tomorrow and head back to everyday life. I brought our ten year old ds with us and my younger kids are staying with in laws. I'll check in again maybe tomorrow night when I get home.
Take care all,
Jessica

Jessica, it must be very hard to say goodbye to your husband for so many months. I know you have been through this before, and made it through, but it still has to be very hard.

You just keep coming here, and to the Monogram Wizard group, and talk to all of us. I hope when you get back home with your kids, and can get to your embroidery machine, it will help.

Jessica ~ I feel terrible for you. It is going to be SO hard to say good-bye for so long. I will send lots of prayers his way to keep him safe and we'll keep you busy here too so keep checking in. Big hugs!

Hi Jessica,

We just wanted to tell your husband as well as you and your family thanks for being willing to serve our country. It's a big sacrifice to be separated from your family for so much time, and it is very much appreciated. We will keep your family in our prayers.

Thanks to all of you. I appreciate the heartfelt words and prayers. I just got back today. The house is a mess! I'm just anxious to get everything in order and all of us back on schedule. I actually have a customer order waiting for me on my machine, so not too much time to dawdle. We were only back since noonish and anything that could happen, happened! My five year old has been busy today. He threw a rock and broke a window on the house and later this evening was playing with an ornament on the fireplace mantle and broke it. Not sure if this is a good way to start my four months or not. He actually surprised me today with all this, because he usually doesn't do this sort of thing! Everything will smooth out, eventually....

Hopefully this won't be the beginning of more of this. If he's normally very good, it could be he was just upset and the rest of the four months will be much better.

Good luck. Big hugs for you Jessica!

Hopefully the four months will be busy for you with orders and you'll see the time fly by for you.
