Well, I sure didn't. Instead of my usual laundry tip of 13 cents, I found my son's flash drive in the dryer. It went through a full wash cycle and a full dry.
I was very surprised that it still worked.

That's awesome. You should send your note to the manufacturer. I am sure they would love to hear about the durability of their product.
Cheers!

and did you know if the plastic tip breaks off and the circuitry is still showing that it will work. I don't recommend it, and I would replace it....but don't panic if it happens to you ..it might still work.

Who knew they were such handy little pieces of technology?!

I try not to launder mine, but hey...it happens.

I have one that I use that is practically bent in two, but it still works. i just keep on using it, though. I finally did pick up another one and use both.

The machine washable flash drive is a Toshiba 2GB. Available at Office Max.

my broken stick is PNY Attache....I don't know where I got it. The tip broke off but the circuitry is still in tact.

I hope this doesn't happen to me, but if it does, atleast I'll know it'll be okay.

Do you recommend spot remover, too? I have washed so many electronic things and have not had a successful turnout. I won't purposefully wash my flash, but hey, if it happens, I won't immediately burst into tears.
