Does anyone have a good idea for my small group. They are 6-8th graders. I wanted to make them something for valentines day. Somewhat inexpensive.

The drawstring backpacks are really popular right now. There are free tutorials all over the web on how to stitch them. They are fairly quick and easy - and just beg for embroidery. How many gifts are you going to be making?

That is a good idea. I think we have about 10. I will check into the price to see if okay. I do this group with another mom, maybe she wil contribute.

Do they all go to the same school? You could do the pillowcases with their school name or do their name with the hearts. You can buy a dozen 250tc pillowcases at Sams Club for $14 and some change.

Yes they do go to the same school. Most play softball at Their middle school. That is a REALLY good idea. I will go to Sam's. I can put their name with the hearts. I like that. We have a Sam's here in Greenville.

Oh I love the pillowcase idea. DH is always looking for a reason to head to Sam's. I don't have an immediate need for 12pillowcases but it is always good to build the stash.

Good to know where to stock up on nice pillowcases. They are easy and make a good gift for just about anyone.

You can't go wrong with pillowcases. I've done those for girls that win local pageants, and they love to see their title and name on them.

Oooh, can't wait to go to Sam's. Now, how do I explain to the hubby about why I "need" two dozen pillowcases? :-)
