I am assuming we are only suppose to share projects with designs we bought here, right? I have tons of pictures of different things I have made but I am guessing I never took pictures of the jumper I made for my dd from the simple stitches collection.

I think Jami would like to see her own designs here.
I would suggest the Sew Fourm Board that has tons of other pictures of projects to look at.
Just my 2Cents, I could be wrong. What do you think Jami?

That was what I though, too :)

I sure hope that's the case. That way it'll be easy to know where to get the designs we like. There's nothing worse than going on a wild goose chase for the perfect design you saw somewhere.

I agree that it will be easier to know where to find the designs if we only post pics of ones from the site. There are other boards where we can post other designs.

For now I would like to share any of my projects hope that is fine. I will add more as I make them & photograph them. I hope to do more with designs from this website!!!

I read Jami's post....We would prefer not to be too restrictive with the message board. On the other hand we also want to make sure that the discussions remain positive. Spam and advertising will be be erased. We also ask that everyone is polite to each other. So far everyone has been great! :)
If we find that something becomes a problem, we may establish a more formal set of forum rules, but for right now, be polite, don't spam, & use your best judgment.
She didn't address anything about the posting of photos and projects. I sincerely hope she doesn't restrict the posting to only her designs. While I love them all, they are only a small number of the many designs I use that I love just as much. We all have some great ideas with projects we've done, or ideas we want to do, that can be an inspiration to others no matter which exact designs are used. I honestly think it would be a bit boring after a while to see only what's been done with one digitizers designs. Yes, I do occasionally use an old freebie design that I have no idea where it came from but I think most of us can point the way to the designs we use if others are interested.

I think she'd probably like to see things made with the designs she has rather than others. I don't know, I think it'd turn into Sew Forum if not. Just my .02.
Edit: Not that there's anything wrong with Sew Forum, I love that place too! :D
I love to see any "project ideas", but is there some way to include instructions on how you completed it? I love the hooded towel, but have not figured out how to do the hood the same as it appears in the picture ( as an example). Maybe adding some info on the type of stabilizer you found to work the best on your project.
My name should be NEWBIE- I am always looking for ways to use my machine- there is just not enough out there!
Thanks

I'm sure she'll be really pleased to see anything made with her designs but I'm sure even Jami uses other peoples designs. It couldn't get like SF, thank goodness...there's different people here than SF, or any other forum, so we'd be seeing lots of different stuff.
Just different opinions! I think of it as being restrictive and others think it would be selective. Wouldn't the world be boring if we were all the same?!?! :D

I would think it would be nice to see any projects no matter where the designs came from, but really let everybody know about the ones that came from here!

This message board is new, so many of us did not think to take a photo of our projects to share with our friends on the message board. I hope to take some new photos of projects in the future. It's tricky to learn how to post the pictures. I hope they make it easier in the future (if possible) I really want to see more pictures of projects made with designs from this site!!!!:)

Thank you everyone for sharing your input. Sorry for not providing direction in this matter sooner. We would also like to thank you of your patience and for putting up with some ambiguity. As a new message board we are establishing policies, as we go along. After putting a lot of thought into this question we have decided to only allow projects featuring designs from Embroidables to be posted on the website. We believe that this will help maintain the focus of the website and help prevent clutter, advertizing, and potential spam.

Jami, I agree just because your designs are the best!!!!
:D But I think you won´t take so much time to offer the news sets on!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Jami could start another thread where we could have Embroidables designs, and other digitizer's designs combined?

I think Keeping it just Embroidables is fine.
There are other sewing/embroidery websites that show other projects with other designs.

I saw somewhere where it was posted that they need to come from here. I like all the designs here and so that shouldn't be too hard. :)
