Are there any rules about postings on this group that we should be aware of, like is it restricted to discussion about the designs & projects found on embroidables.com?

We would prefer not to be too restrictive with the message board. On the other hand we also want to make sure that the discussions remain positive. Spam and advertising will be be erased. We also ask that everyone is polite to each other. So far everyone has been great! :)

If we find that something becomes a problem, we may establish a more formal set of forum rules, but for right now, be polite, don't spam, & use your best judgment.

Thank you Jami. I had wondered if we could show off any of our things we've made that may be our favorites if it's not done with an embroidables design. I know that sometimes that helps give others ideas.

Would it be ok to post links to others websites for designs? We all love yours, but sometimes people are just looking for certain things.

I wouldn't want someone to do that on my website! If someone asks why don't you send them a private message. I think it's great that we are allowed to post pictures of projects with designs from other websites, but I wouldn't want to ruin it by sending customers away! :o

You have a good point there Jules. I guess Jami has to be careful though becuase someone may try to advertise another wesbite which wouldn't be cool. There is a fine line...

I agree, here we talk about our interests and show our projects of this site. Some rules are necessary and we are able to send private emails, the great thing is that we are making new friends , thanks Jami!!!!!

I love the fact that so far we have been free to discuss many issues...So many sites have too many restrictions on them making for less chat...
