I finally got tea towels from Target.

I asked awhile ago about the tea towels from Target and finally got there and picked up some of the Fairfield ones.
I must say they are probably the nicest tea towels I have embroidered on yet.
They washed up beautifully and the embroidery looks lovely.
I used a tear away on the back and a wash away on top so that it wouldn't sink into the fabric.
I read the message about the big sale at Target with the tea towels and will try to get back and pick up more of the ones that are on sale.
I haven't embroidered on the linen ones yet, but I am sure that they will be easy.

How much are the tea towels and do they come in a range of colors? We aren't close to the border so we can't get to the states to buy any. Do you know if they ship to Canada.

I can't recall exactly how much the tea towels were, but they were in the front of my local Target in the bargain bins. I want to think they were around $1.50 or $2.00 for two towels. The ones I bought are white with a pink and white polka dot border, red with a red and white swirly hearts border, and white with a brown and white polka dot border. These are not the really nice quality towels in my opinion. I think they are just really cute and inexpensive, but Target certainly has some that are much nicer quality for a higher price. I'm sure Target ships...look on their website. www.target.com

When I went yesterday - they only had waffleweave towels. They look like they are still pretty good for embroidering. $1 each and they had blue, orange and green. More like Easter colors.

At Walmart the waffles tea towels are 2 for $2.97
