When at our local JoAnn's last weekend there was a little sign-up at the check out for a teachers' discount - 15% off EVERY purchase! Plus a coupon for a one-time 20% discount!

A quick search on their website didn't yield any results to link to you, but I'd call your local store to see if they participate in this.

I just went to their site and did a search for "teacher" and found this for anyone that is interested.

My sil is a home schooler and she qualifies for the teacher discounts as well. I am feeling slighted by that...but what can you do. Home schoolers also can get a discount at some bookstores...I believe good for anything in the store.

My only child just graduated college, so I have no way to earn this discount, but I'm glad Joann recognizes the value of teachers, whether in a school or at home.
