I took my 3 year old to go vote in the IL primary today after school. I explained on the way over that Mommy would get to vote (since only grown-ups can) but she could help.
When we got there, they actually had little kids' ballots - 4x6" cards with the scantron oval to vote for George Washington, Susan B. Anthony, or Abraham Lincoln. :D
We went into the booth, making a big deal about her getting to vote, too. I said, "Who would you like to vote for?" and before I could read her the three choices, she replied, "Pink." (As in the color, not the singer!)
Pink.
I could've peed.
