Well, he is back in Iraq for the time being. He will be here until he comes home in May. He bought a digital camera at the PX and is going to try and make a small video for the kids tonight. I can't wait to show them. Thanks everyone for letting me share with you. It's very therapeutic for me to just talk! The kids both brought pics to school of Daddy. They were so excited to do that. Those are the helicopters he works with.

Thanks for sharing the new pictures. It really does make it a bit more personal when we see those pictures of someone we feel we've come to know. As a teacher, I tend to count down the days until May gets here (my mom says I'm wishing my life away!) but I'm sure you can give that countdown to May a whole new level of meaning!:D

Ain't that the truth! My soon to be six yr old asks me EVERYDAY if daddy is still coming home when schools gets out in May. Not a day goes by. I have brought a calender to show him and cross off days. This might just be the best summer we have all had when he gets home!
