I don't subscribe either, but I saw it on the shelves in Wal-Mart this morning. I recognized the Easter set immediately as I've been eyeing it for some time trying to decide if I want to get started on Easter thing early! It must be the newest edition because I didn't see this one last weeked.

It is the March/April issue and when you get to the website the cover is right there. How Very Exciting for you Jami and David!!!

Yes, I was wondering the same thing, if it is worth subscribing to? I just haven't found any embroidery magazines that screamed at me. I'm probably going to go pick this one up!

Thanks for the congrats!!! It was a very happy surprise to see them on the cover. Annette, the ever-so-amazing, editor always does top notch articles. It's my favorite embroidery magazine!!!

There's also another project in that same issue done by Pauline Richards using our designs. It's the cute birthday banner. Pauline is the editor of Total Embellishment newsletter, but does freelance writing too. She's marvelous.

IMHO, this one is THE best! Annette is a class act and puts together a wonderful issue each time. The projects are practical and have easy to follow instructions. The magazine is published by CK Media, same company who does Sew News, Creating Keepsakes, etc. so you know it's good!!

Don't just take my word for it, though, get a subscription and see for yourself!! :o

For those of you that do subscribe to this magazine, did you know you can download printable indexes that give a list of every article title from every year on their website? That's really great so you can print it and then scan quickly over that sheet for something you remember seeing but not which month it was in rather than pulling out every issue to search for it. I am going to subscribe now too. It's too bad we won't have our subscription start with this months issue to get the one with Embroidables on it.

Hopefully they sent it first class this time and it's just slow. I'm assuming you had been getting it before so they had the correct address. I've had that happen before with another magazine and they sent the replacement out first class rather than at their normal magazine rates where they take a lot longer. :(

oooh ooh and *I* got my very first issue today but it's the Jan/Feb issue. I got my bill shortly after I filled the info out to start and then *someone who shall remain nameless* lost that bill so we had to wait for another to come. We got that yesterday and the magazine today. :D
