Anyone watching American Idol?

I started watching it last season and have been hooked ever since. I started only watching the first part with the funny auditions, but have since started watching all the way through. Not sure who my favs are yet this season. I love that Australian guy. He seems pretty steady.

Funny you should ask. I have watched it off and on. More off than on, but last night there wasn't anything else good on so I did tune in. I really liked the Australian guy, too. I just wonder though if he'll appeal to many of the younger people since he's married. Someone like David A. might drive the votes of the younger audience. I thought he was a cutie.

I'm an addicted American Idol fan. I've watched it every season, and I thought I would be burnt out by now...but I'm still hooked. My sister and a couple of her friends have tried out three years in a row, but none have made it past the first round. I'm sure I'm biased, but she's really, really good. She did have one guy ask her to sing 4 or 5 songs in a row, but he had sent his quota of "good" singers through to the next round for that day. One of her friends is amazing and original (supposedly what they're looking for) but he hasn't gotten even a nibble from them. I just don't understand their intial judging round...of course it hasn't stopped me from being glued to the tube every Tuesday and Wednesday night!:p

We are hooked on Idol!..we tivo it since it stays on past the girlies bedtime and watch the next night at a decent hour...the girls love the auditions parts! My fave is the aussie..i'm completely mixed about the "rocker" chick this year not sure what i think about her yet..:dontknow:

I was not as impressed with the girls as I was with the boys. I really think the winner will be a guy this year.

I am absolutely hooked on American Idol. This came to light last season when I overheard my secretary tell my new paralegal NOT to book me anything past 4:00 on Tuesday or Wednesday or I would get really mad. Everyone in the office knew I had to be home in time to watch American Idol. It was slightly embarrassing, but hilarious as I did not realize they knew so much about me. They still tease me about Tuesday and Wednesday nights!
