Here is another Hooded towel that we did.

I was given the Flower Ribbon to work with and lets see what I can come up with... First lets start with EMBROIDABLES designs... Yes I found a design that would work perfect. The Towel was a rose color (dull) but we brightened it up!

Hope you like!

The Flower came from the GRANDMA 2 Design Set.

Thank You!!!

I got my first one 18 years ago with my first child and that is the gift that was used and lasted the most! I think is still hanging around the house somewhere!!!!

I gave them out to my friends and from there it exploded as they order them from me for their gifts! I have gotten better at decorating them. I would hate to show you my first couple years of embroidery. LOL
Really most of them now are with Embroidables designs... they just fit all the ribbon I have.
My Girls get teachers asking for them as we give them to teachers as baby gifts! Along with the Burp Cloths!

Love it, Dawn. You have a way of completely giving the designs a whole new look that even I don't recognize them sometime. That's a good thing. ;)

That stitched out so well! How does the stitching stand up to being washed?

When I've done a towel before the stitching got lost in the pile of the towel after it was washed. Any tips?

oh so the cloth like material (with flowers) are actually ribbons. Initially I thought they are fabrics but after reading through, i get my Q answered. Are those ribbons fabrics material? its very nice to make a towel this way because at my place, i didnt see such designs at all. Very nice idea and pretty towel!

I love the design and the ribbon, they were made for each other. I know Hannah had to love it, it is so girly.

Very very cute! I must try it soon. Any good ideas on where to get decent towels for cheap? I love monogramming towels, but would love to do the hooded ones for my small grandchildren! I am also asking the question of someone above, is that the pattern for the hooded towels that is shown on this message board?
Thanks for the inspiration!
Elaine
