When I turned 50 my prankster sister sent me this hugh package. It arrived when I had the telephone repairman and alarm repairman, and I had a real estate appraiser at my house. They thought it was very thoughtful of my sister to think of my birthday....until I opened it.
A large bag of depends, menapause powder, old age douche bag, old age talc powder deodorant, past hot flash tea "to give you the desire", black fake roses, a big flower flannel gown, a red hat pin, and a red hat sweatshirt,...etc. The men were rolling they were laughing so hard. Dummy me had opened it at the kitchen bar where they were near by and came to watch. I was so embarrassed, finally I gave in and laughed too. In the back of my mind, I thought "In a couple of years you will be there too! Revenge is sweet, even more so because I've had three years to work on it." Everytime I send her a card or email, or talk to her I gently remind her of her birthday coming, the big 50. It has gotten to be a game between us. :bike:
Oh, she called the next day to see if I was mad at her about sort of going overboard. My reply was it was so thoughtful I must be at least that thoughtful on her's. :aetsch: My mom says the two of us haven't grown up but it is fun.
I still have all the boxes of powders and the depends and stuff so she will get thoses back and....well, I need ideas. I have to ship things that way, my husband thought about making a old timey wooden coffin and putting dead flowers in it (now that would be mean...too mean) so I need a lot of ideas. Her birthday is in January so I have time to get whatever done. Be creative and please give lots of ideas, she only turns fifty once and this is it.
Lucky for me my sister and I are very close.:stupido2:

This is the first thing (http://www.craftsayings.com/projects/gag_gifts/padded_slippers/index.shtml)I thought of. I wonder if you could embroider something on them. :p There are two little poems/sayings to choose from there although I like the 2nd one for this. LOL
(the page takes a little bit to load so you'll have to wait)

I'm still searching for the directions for those but here's a picture I found of the bottoms that someone had added a sole onto them. LOL
Duh - not too hard staple into this shape using two pads and then glue gun to add the stuff to decorate them.

Good idea(not mine - found on the net)
I took a beautiful flower pot and filled it with 50 lollipops, complete with a ribbon bow and a florist fork with a card that said 50 SUCKS. The gift was nice and a gag at the same time. I used those long lollipops that are in the shape of flowers and I had to put sandy in the bottom of the pot to weigh it down

HA Too funny
big bottle of prune juice and a nice champagne glass wrapped in pretty ribbon

When my husband's sister turned 50, we had a cake made like a coffin, and it has an arm and a leg hanging out. It was hilarious.
We had a small coffin from Halloween decorations, and we put that in the front yard and put crazy stuff all around.
I hope you can think of something really wacky to get her back.
