So I was noticing that I tend to be one of the only ones on late at night so I thought I'd create a poll - Night owl or morning person or ?

Good question, I'm not sure where I fit in...I get up between 4 & 7 then I go to bed between 10 & 2. If it seems odd hours I am on some strange meds for my Parkinson's so sometimes I sleep and other nights I don't sleep at all. I guess you need a new catagory: maybe...whatever the mood or strange due to meds.

I'm on the opposite end from you, Cynelle...I'm one of the few on before 6 a.m. Ah, but it's nice to sit in the quiet with that first cup of coffee and see what you night owls have posted overnight. More often than not, I really want to stay home from school and stitch new ideas. What I wouldn't give to retire!

I'm most definitely an early riser. I can't function past 10:00 p.m. and sometimes 9 pm is my limit! I do someimtes have problems sleeping, so I'm up at different hours of the night, but I almost always initially head to bed by 10.

I'm a night owl!:itsme: :wavey:
I work from 1pm-10pm but I have to get up at 6:30am to get the kids off to school. Around 8:30am I go back to bed to try to get a little rest before I have to get ready for work at 10am.:bath:
But once I'm home from work, I'm so whipped up that it takes a long time to unwind, so I don't go to bed until about 1:30am. Saturday's are for sleepin' in!!:sheep: That's my day to catch up and try to get some stuff done. Nice to know I'm not the only Night Owl!

I'm a night owl, too. If I could, I'd stay up all night and sleep during the day, but life and hubby won't allow for it. I try and make myself go to bed by midnight, but alot of times I'm still up at 1 or 2. I absolutely hate mornings.

I am a night owl!! If I didn't have to get up for work & to get my daughter ready for school I would probably be up ALL night. As it is I find I have to force myself to bed around 1 AM

MarciaLeah-I am the exact same way. And unforturnately I've had a little bout with insomnia for the past couple of days so it's kept me up, and I can't just lay in bed. I have posted or at least read the threads at 2 or 3 AM. I've gotten a lot done as far as organizing my sewing room and actually reading tutorials & such....

Sew4fun, are you a nurse? I've often thought I'd be alright working the 3rd shift as long as I could come right home in time to have my kids up and fully functioning, getting ready for school....it's nice to daydream, huh?

A morning person. Usually up between 5-6 am, and go to bed between 9 and 10. I used to be a night person, but DH went from a 5-3 shift to a 3-2 shift. So ever morning before 3 I hear his alarm go off, then kinda drift for a few hours. (remember, posting times might be on a different time zone than you are).

Didn't think about the different time zones....I'm CST (central time). Baby is asleep and DH is tooling around in his Man Cave (garage) & I certainly need to be sewing & creating instead of typing, but this is so much fun and therapy for the sewing soul!

:y: If I didn't have to work, I would be a night owl most of the time. I live for the weekend and holidays so I can enjoy my time.

That's been me these last couple of nights: although it has to do with either stress or changing prescriptions... or both

YES! Ha! How's that answer. It just depends on my day really and how I'm feeling. I'm up usually when hubby gets up around 4am but don't always feel like typing. Then there are times we are too dumb to go to bed and we're up till 2am or later. Yea, we pay for that. LOL

I'm a night owl, when I can get away with it. Unfortunately for me I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about a month ago. It figures. I had been soooooooo :frown: tired for the past several months. I used to be a morning person, but it has definately turned me into a "NOT a morning person". I just have a hard time getting up, once I'm up I'm ok ...tired but ok.
It seems like I get more done at night. The days are so busy and once the house is quiet at night it seems like I can work better. Hubby doesn't like me to stay up late though.
