New Machine is here!!!

:elefant: Celebration dance, but not for too long...my new machine arrived today! I ordered the Janome MC 10001 after much research. I have studied more machines than I ever want to look at again, and I finally made the decision to buy Janome. I've stitched out a practice run, but I do have alot of learning to do. Hopefully I can get something ready over the weekend to show you all.

I've had my 10001 for two years now and I absolutely LOVE it! It stitches beautifully and works like a dream. I still lust after the 11000, but even if I got it, I would still keep my 10001.

Let us know if you need any help, since I know there are several of us on this board that have the same machine.

Thanks to you all. I'm having a blast playing with this machine. It's so quiet! I actually started working on something this morning and didn't wake anyone up with all the rattling and incessant beeping!:eek: I too drooled over the 11000, but it's going to be a while into the future before I make that purchase!:o

Congrats on the Janome 10001 purchase. I have a 10000 and upgraded it to a 10001. Love it and wouldn't be without it. Enjoy!!!

Again congrats on the new machine. I find that if I get a lot of fluff in the bobbin case area I use a can of air and blow it out. I talked to my dealer and he has no problem with me doing that. That way I don't have to constantly take the machine in for service.

Have fun! I put my embroidery machine on the top of a sturdy dresser and got one of those bar chairs - a really comfy one - to sit on. I found that it's easier to thread and mount the designs if the machine is higher up. I sit when I'm setting the machine up to do a design, then do everything else standing.

I'm not familiar with the Janome embroidery machine (I do own 3 Janome sewing machines though). I have a Brother embroidery machine - I think they are all the neatest thing going. Send us a pic of your first project!

Welcome Stevie C. I'm loving my Janome, and yes, mine stitches every day too. Have you tried any of Jami's designs here at Embroidables yet? They are the best I've found. Be sure to post some pictures when you use some of their designs...we'd love to see them!:D
