Looks like you know how to post,
Look under the FAQ for questions to your answers!

Have Fun!

Look directly above where you typed in your posts (on the pink bar directly below the Embroidables logo above) and you'll see "FAQ." Those are the frequently asked questions about posting on this forum. Looks like you're doing great on your own already!

How do I quote a post from another thread or quote a qoute within a post?

How do you use the +/- " ? I think I know how to qoute another threat by cut & paste with the wrap quote bubble in the tool bar. But I still don't know how to use the +/- "

Why is it that when I post something, I have in my post window an "edit" button and other people's don't?

There were instructions given by me(click me --> ) here (http://www.embroidables.com/forums/showpost.php?p=622&postcount=16)on how to quote both individual posts and multiple posts.

I'm not quite sure where you're seeing the +/- though.

The reason for that is because you cannot edit someone elses posts, only your own unless you are a moderator or admin of the message board. ;)

Let me know if you need any help. I do have plans of creating some tutorials on how to do different things around the message board. I have done some things, but those are kinda buried in other threads.

It looks like some of you have things figured out so far and are on your way to posting and having some fun.

Crafty Connie....are you from OHIO...just curious.

Oh, maybe I can click on your name and see info about you? I am just learning.

oops....crafty connie...I just realized your post was a whole page ago...you may never see this.

Yes, you can click anyone's name and see their profile. If they've filled out the profile then you will see things more there. Most don't put too much in thier profile on a message board though. You may find out more if Connie wishes to share in sending her a private message. ;)

If she posted to this thread and has her preferences set for instant notification, then she will see this post because she gets an email notifying her of any posts to this thread, or any she's posted in.

I have no trouble posting, obviously, but is there a way to check things that I have posted?

For example, right now I don't remember if I ever introduced myself and I don't want to scroll through several pages of posts to look for something I may or may not have done.

Yes, if you click on your name, then click "View public profile". Down the left side of that you'll see a link to "find all posts made by" and it will show a list of all posts you've made and where they were.

It took me a second to figure it out too.
