Default I'm not old - I'm retro

I was speaking on the phone with my 12-year old niece. As usual, we talked about clothes and I told her about my new outfit. I thought I was so "cool" and "in style" when she informed me she liked the way I dressed. I was alway so retro.

I did not know I was retro. I thought I was stylin'

Oh well.....

Sure beats the time when another niece called and asked to borrow some of my clothes as they were having 80's day at high school. 80's day??? Am I that old? .... guess so...

:-)

Isn't it a sad day when you can go wayyyy into the back of your closet and find all those clothes you wore when you were younger are now "cool" again? Makes you realize you are old enough that your style from years gone by are now back in style again. LOL The best part is that you can now sell them and people actually WANT to buy them now that they are in style again. LOL AND you can get more since they are true "retro" and not copies made now.

The sad part is, by the time the style comes back around, I'm pulling them out of the closet and going "Wow!! You mean I used to be that thin???" Kinda depressing.
