Hi Katie! Do you have some photos of the napkins that you made for your sister?

I made 26 of the poinsettia/snowflake napkins and 12 of the bright colored napkins (my sister has Christmas china for the kids table in the bright colors). Needless to say, after making 38 of these for her, my napkins are still in the UFO pile!

OOh those turned out really great. You have a whole year to finish those in the UFO pile.

I think if I don't get these done within the next couple of days, I will probably be stitching furiously next Christmas Eve

I love your napkins. Aren't they fun to make. On the first fold I sewed invisiable thread so that when they are wash you have a guide to refold them.
I like your choice of fabric.

Grace,
That was a great idea! I sent a template that I cut of of heavy cardboard and then laminated for my sister to use when she irons them. (Although, she told me that since I used sizing when I ironed the fabric that the folds in the material did not disappear in the laundry.)

I wish I had seen your color combos before I bought my fabric. Now I have another trip to make because I love yours.

I love your napkins. Would you be willing to share the design with me? Thanks Denise

Denise - I also made some of these napkins last year that show up in another post. If you google Christmas tree napkins you will get lots of instructions and there is even a Youtube video on how to make them. I like big napkins so I made mine with a 20" half circle but you can make them smaller.
Good luck - they are fun and quite pretty. I made matching table runners and sold all the sets I made at a craft show last year. People seemed to like them. This year I am making some for myself.

Just curious as to how much you sell these for. Are they hard to make? I think that they are beautiful!

Granny 313 - I see you didn't get an answer to your question so I thought I'd chime in. Last year I made sets of 6 with a matching table runner and sold them for $50. This year I made 8 napkins with the runner for $60. They are not hard to make but they do take a fair bit of fabric because they are double sided - they are more expensive to make than a regular napkin.
