I'll be leaving in the morning. My hubby and I are treating ourselves to a vacation in Nashville, TN. We will stay until Thanksgiving Day.
We are so excited and have a big agenda planned. If I can get an internet hookup to work on my laptop, I will check in from time to time.

I'm here!! We are worn out. We are at the Gaylord, and this place is so huge. So much fun! Wish all of you were here also. The lights and decorations are just gorgeous. Sure puts you in the Christmas spirit.
Tues. they are having a craft show here. Can't wait!

I just got back from vacation.

I need a vacation!!
We just got home from my parents...now this weekend we're doing the whole inlaws turkey weekend.
I'm going to convice them to go out to dinner tonight!

We came back on Wed. It was a really fun trip, but we are worn out. The Gaylord is so huge, and you have a tremendous amount of walking just to get from one place to the other.
We went on the dinner cruise on the General Jackson, and also went to see the Rockettes. The Rockettes were wonderful. The costumes were unbelieveable and the nativity scene was the best I've ever seen.
We came back a day early since it was supposed to rain, and it did. We didn't cook Thanksgiving this year.

We just got back from Florida Sat. and found our eletric off.

We had to dump pretty much everything in our upstairs ref/freezer and our downstairs freezer.

Also when the meat upstairs thawed and the ice cubes it went into our carpet and the carpet reeks like raw/spoiled meat smell.
My hubby steamed cleaned it for now.
Calling the insurance co. to see if its worth replacing the carpet and pad.

Any suggestions?

Oh, how horrible! Our son always checks on our dog while we are gone, and it is good to have someone checking on the house also.
