Hey fun2sew! I'm from Holland-Grand Rapids area too! But you already know that. For those of you that have never been out this way, come in May, during our Tulip Festival. It's fun! You'll see Dutch Dancing, parades and can eat all that fattening carnival food!

Seeing all the tulips in bloom all over the city is breathtaking too. Hopefully this next year they will have good weather so they are awesome.

Wow. Next time hubby and I come to the Holland area we all need to get together and meet. We live in IL but hubby was born in Holland and lived there his entire life until he met me. I always say I imported my husband from Holland. HA

It's a really nice "smallish" city. I love the west vs. the east side of the state (believe me when I say I've lived all over, I grew up more in the middle of the state) but I miss the shopping, the restaurants, etc. There are tons of "chinese" restaurants here and not one of them is good. NOT ONE!

Anyway, we should have a "meet" sometime. That would be fun.
